Biography

Jonny joined the Geodesys team in 2015 and has over 25 years of product management and business development experience. 

As Business Development Manager, Jonny is responsible for relationships and partnerships with third-party external suppliers and driving and managing the sales team's business development activities to both direct customers and resellers.  

He acts as a key conduit internally between the sales team, customer services, marketing, and development to release, promote, and support the best possible lineup of products and services to our clients.

Often involved in presentations, webinars and events, Jonny’s broad knowledge of the conveyancing market helps shape the direction TIDE takes now and into the future.

Biography

Since 2004, Stephen Desmond has delivered more than 2,000 CPD events to lawyers from a variety of backgrounds, with a particular focus on flat and apartment leases and practical solutions. Delegates at these events have included practitioners from a variety of size firms, ranging from sole practitioners to City Solicitors.   

Stephen has a strong and growing number of connections from within the profession on LinkedIn and is known as the Conveyancers’ Cheerleader. 

 Stephen is a contributing editor to Butterworths Property Law Service, writing on the complex law relating to long and short leases.  He has written for a monthly publication on the subject of commercial property. He also once ran a university-accredited distance-learning course for aspiring paralegals in the subject of residential conveyancing.  

A non-practising Solicitor with several years of post-qualification experience, Stephen has represented many business and private clients, including property investors and local authorities.
