Highway search delays

We are continuing to see severe delays from some Local Authorities which is affecting our ability to get results to you from Local Authorities and some partner searches that rely on Local Authority Highways data – notably SiteSolutions Highways from Landmark and particularly those in Norfolk, Suffolk and Kent.

Please be aware that lead times from Local Authorities are often longer during this extremely busy period and we recommend setting your clients expectations accordingly. You can find details of the latest lead times of our most frequently ordered Local Authorities here.

We do however have an alternative way of getting some Highways information to you via a Highways Line Only report. The information in a Highways Line Only report includes key information such as:

• which roads are adopted (indicated by a line on the map)
• road improvement schemes and orders
• forthcoming roadworks
• public rights of way (including proposed changes)

Please be aware that this report is not a full Highways report so will not show you the full extent of the highways, including whether the road abuts the address / site.

Should you wish to go ahead with a Line Only search there will be no additional charge. The lead time for this report is approximately five working days but we will work to get this returned to you as soon as possible.
