Introducing Landmark’s new standard of environmental insights

On the 19th November, Landmark Information Group will launch some exciting updates to their range of residential environmental searches. These reports now feature an easy-to-read summary page and upgraded climate risk models, specifically designed with solicitors in mind to ensure confidence in the search results.

So, what’s new? Landmark’s remastered reports will continue to include their unmatched data and renowned in-house expert support. Starting 19th November 2024, these reports will  offer greater clarity to help conveyancers navigate complex transactions more effectively.

The impact of climate change on homeownership has become a growing concern for homebuyers and lenders. Following the release of The Law Society’s Climate Change Guidance last year, conveyancers have faced a challenging and sometimes confusing landscape. It is crucial for legal professionals to perform thorough environmental due diligence to protect their client’s interests. Landmark’s new environmental report portfolio now includes in-depth climate change analysis, making it easier for solicitors and homebuyers to understand any climate change implications. This analysis is available in their EnviroSearch Residential and RiskView reports, providing insights into long-term risks associated with climate change.

Another significant update is the newly designed summary front page. Developed with feedback from conveyancers, it is now more convenient and practical, tailored to both conveyancers and homebuyers. This new design allows for easy interpretation of potential risks relevant to the property location. Additionally, the reports are now digitally enabled, allowing you to deliver them to your clients in a digital or PDF format, embracing the future of reporting.

These enhancements mean the reports are quicker and easier to interpret, allowing you to spend more time with your clients and deliver first-rate customer service. The price of the reports will increase in line with these improvements, along with updates to some of the names. New pricing:
