Major Updates to CON29DW Commercial Reports Coming April 2026

From the 1st April 2026, we will be making some changes to our CON29DW Commercial offering, and price increases, for the Anglian Water Region.

Improved functionality and look of the CON29DW Commercial  

The standard CON29DW Commercial report will offer expanded functionality and a refreshed format to improve clarity, usability, and customer experience.  

The updated product will now fully support use cases previously requiring bespoke handling. Specifically, the standard CON29DW Commercial will:

• Support any size of property or land that can be mapped on an A3 1:5000 landscape plan

• Include information for up to four connections within a single report

Where land cannot be mapped within these parameters (for example, significantly oversized or irregularly shaped sites), or where information on more than four connections is required, additional standard CON29DW Commercial reports will be needed. When multiple mapped areas or multiple connections are involved, results will be delivered as separate reports. For example, two connections or two distinct mapped areas will generate two individual CON29DW Commercial reports.

In addition, the standard CON29DW Commercial will be issued in a new, updated format aligned with the familiar style of the CON29DW Residential product. Key enhancements include:

• A refreshed design with greater layout clarity

• Interactive page navigation

• Embedded interactive links throughout the report

• Enhanced “Additional information” pages

• A clear front‑page dashboard summary

• A practical traffic‑light notification system to highlight key findings

Together, these upgrades are designed to deliver a more intuitive, clearer, and more user‑friendly reporting experience.

Removal of the CON29DW Commercial Plus

To streamline our offering, and support these changes, the CON29DW Commercial PLUS will be retired. Historically the Commercial PLUS has been used for larger development sites, commercial properties with multiple billing accounts and high-value commercial transactions.

By removing the Commercial PLUS product, we aim to reduce additional lead time. From the 1st April 2026, if your transaction does not fit into the additional functionality of the standard CON29DW Commercial listed above, an additional report will be required. If you have any questions about this, please get in touch with you account manager. But we are confident that the improved functionality of the standard report will encompass most commercial transactions.  

Pricing update: CON29DW Commercial

To reflect the increased functionality and enhanced format, the price of the standard CON29DW Commercial will change to:

£240.00 + VAT from 1st April 2026.

Please note that this represents a reduction compared to the former Commercial PLUS price, while delivering broader functionality within a single product.

Pricing update: CON29DW Residential

We will also be introducing a price increase to the CON29DW Residential product to support ongoing improvements and operational costs:

£63.00 + VAT from 1st April 2026.
